Ashton Kutcher is at it again, however instead of punking A-list celebs, this time they are in on the prank.

“Pop Fiction,” Kutcher’s new E! reality series which debuted tonight at 10:30 pm, featured two pranks that the media was duped into reporting — Paris Hilton’s date with a shaman and Avril Lavigne’s “pregnancy.”

The eight episode series is a prank show targeting the paparazzi and media outlets, made with the help of stars who are in on the joke and in “full control” of the pranks.

The show’s segments vary, but generally consist of a sympathetic sit-down interview with a celebrity as they concoct scenarios to dupe the media. Viewers will then see them interacting with the Hollywood press hordes — “you’re going to see how aggressive these people are,” Goldberg says — and the aftermath of the resulting coverage.
